This seminar, presented by one of our experienced Reference Archivists, will provide you with the basis you need to start your research at QSA. The seminar includes morning tea and a short tour.

The Hon. Robert Schwarten, MP Minister for Public Works and Information and Communication Technology invites you to the launch of the Queensland State Archives 50th Anniversary Exhibition.

Morning tea will be followed by a seminar on the growth of the QSA collection over the past 50 years and a tour of the facility.

Queensland State Archives' 50th anniversary

The Royal Historical Society of Queensland will be hosting a lecture evening at the Commissariat Store to celebrate 50 years of Queensland State Archives. There will be two lectures as follows.

Mr Manfred Cross, Author Early history of archives
Ms Janet Prowse, State Archivist, Queensland State Archives Now and the future
