Queensland State Archives has developed the Recordkeeping Guideline for Small Public Authorities to assist staff in small public authorities to understand and implement basic recordkeeping practices in accordance with the Public Records Act 2002. Each section of the guideline introduces recordkeeping practices covered by Information Standard 40:Recordkeeping and Information Standard 31: Retention and Disposal of Public Records. Practical advice has been included to assist small public authorities in implementing best practice recordkeeping appropriate to their circumstances.
