To assist public authorities with implementing Information Standard 40 and Information Standard 41, QSA has developed two tools. The Strategic Recordkeeping Implementation Plan Template and Workbook outline an easy to follow methodology for identifying, analysing and evaluating the particular recordkeeping requirements for each public authority.

is a functional classification scheme consisting of terms for functions and
activities common across the public sector (e.g. Personnel and Financial Management).
It may be used as a basis for developing a classification scheme for controlling
and disposing public records. Guidelines for using Keyword AAA are available
