Facilities for Researchers
The Public Search Room is equipped with facilities to assist researchers, including:
- a separate room for the use of the coin-operated microfilm reader printers and microfiche readers
- digital copying from microfilm
- sound proof booths for the use of dictaphones or tape recorders
- power outlets on desks for the use of laptop computers
- public telephone
- free parking
- lockers
- reading lounge
- courtyard area
- wheelchair access to all public areas.
QSA also provides a free taxi service on Wednesdays from Fruitgrove Railway Station.
Under the terms of the Public Records Act 2002, persons under the
age of 14 are not permitted to enter the Public Search Room.
