Facilities for Researchers

The Public Search Room is equipped with facilities to assist researchers, including:

• A separate room for the use of the coin-operated microfilm reader printers and microfiche readers

• Coin machine which accepts notes (denominations of $20, $10 and $5) to provide the equivalent in $1 coins
• Digital copying from microfilm
• Sound proof booths for the use of dictaphones or tape recorders
• Power outlets on desks for the use of laptop computers
• Wheelchair access to all public areas

• Free undercover parking

• Bus parking at roundabout

• Lockers (require $1.00 coin to operate; refundable)

Reader’s Lounge

QSA provides a Reader's Lounge where tea and coffee facilities are available along with a vending machine, refrigerator,microwave and public telephone. An honour system of payment is used in the Reader’s Lounge for use of the tea and coffee facilities.

Taxi Services

QSA also provides a free taxi service on Wednesdays from Fruitgrove Railway Station.
