For researchers undertaking a thesis or long-term research project it is advisable to make an appointment with a Senior Reference Archivist for a preliminary interview.
Queensland State Archives offers onsite retrieval of requested records up to 4.00pm. Currently the facility to request records is only available to visitors within the Public Search Room at QSA and clients are unable to pre-order records using the ArchivesSearch catalogue.
