Treasure Chest

The Treasure Chest is a listing of interesting or unusual items which Queensland State Archives (QSA) researchers have identified in records where they would not easily have been found.  It is a shortened electronic version of the Items of Interest Catalogue, available in the QSA Public Search Room.

The idea of the Treasure Chest is to display the most recently retrieved unusual items or items recovered from unlikely resources.

If you identify something interesting in a record where you would not have expected to find it, you may use the electronic form attached to the main menu and labelled "Add to" to submit your item for consideration for inclusion in the Treasure Chest.

If you would like to request a copy of a Treasure Chest Item, please contact QSA for further information.
